
MY STORY
The Tyler Matthew Curtis Hill Foundation was established in Loving Memory of
Tyler Matthew Curtis Hill on August 19, 2016, on his Golden 19th Birthday. Tyler was born August 19, 1997, to the parents of Phillip & Bonnie Hill.
Tyler was a Freshman at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, majoring in Communications. Tyler was home for Mother’s Day weekend when he was tragically killed in an accident on 315 Highway in Columbus, Ohio on May 11, 2016. Upon his demise, Tyler received an HONORABLE degree from TSU as recognition of his academic excellence and dedication.
The goal of the Tyler Matthew Curtis Hill Foundation is to help other young men and women like Tyler, who are trying very hard to make a difference in this world by furthering their educations and emulating his ideals.
The Tyler Matthew Curtis Hill Foundation provides financial scholarships, funding for HBCU college tours, new and refurbished laptops, and college sports
equipment and uniforms.
Tyler always motivated his peers to BELIEVE that they could do anything they set their minds to do. The Tyler Matthew Curtis Hill Foundation is charged with the responsibility and dedication to keeping Tyler Hill’s Legacy ALIVE.
